SMS Opt-In
How customers opt in to SMS.

Who sends, and who consents
goldenhour is the messaging platform used by independent beauty and wellness professionals (“artists”) to run their bookings. A customer books an appointment on an artist's goldenhour booking page and, in doing so, consents to receive SMS about that appointment. All messages are sent from goldenhour's centralized A2P 10DLC infrastructure on the artist's behalf; the artist's business name appears in the message. This page documents exactly how and where that consent is collected, for campaign review.
The exact opt-in screen every customer sees
Below is the “Your details” step of a goldenhour booking page, where the customer enters their name, email, and mobile number. The SMS consent disclosure sits directly above the “Book it” / “Confirm & pay” button:
First name
Last name
Phone
By booking, you agree to receive recurring SMS about your appointment (confirmation, reminders, and aftercare) from this business via goldenhour. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.
See our SMS Terms, Privacy Policy, and SMS opt-in details.
The transactional disclosure above is rendered from a shared constant and hashed into our consent records, so the stored proof is byte-for-byte identical to what the customer was shown. The promotional checkbox is unchecked by default for every business — customers opt in to marketing only by ticking it themselves. Booking completes whether or not it is ticked. (For reference, the marketing opt-in records this consent text: “Also send me occasional marketing SMS from this business via goldenhour (rebook reminders, birthday treats, and promotions). Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.”)
Verify it live
Open this public, goldenhour-hosted demo booking page — no login, no app, nothing to install. It opens directly on the “Your details” step, with the SMS consent disclosure above the “Book it” button:
Open the demo booking page → goldenhourhq.com/book-demo
Prefer a real, in-production booking page? Every artist has a live one on their own domain — for example book.sobetan.com. Choose any service, then any date and time, and continue to the “Your details” step — the same disclosure appears directly above the submit button.
The screenshot above, the demo page, and every live booking page all render the disclosure from one shared constant, so it is byte-for-byte identical everywhere.
