Goldenhour already knows your service prices — so inside the app this becomes your live profit-per-tan.

How the cost-per-tan math works

For each supply, divide what you paid by how many tans that unit covers. A $45 bottle of solution that does 16 full-body sessions costs about $2.81 per tan. Do that for every consumable — solution, nose filters, sticky feet, prep, barrier cream, gloves, finishing powder — then amortize your rent across the clients you see each week. Add it all up and you have your real operational cost per appointment.

Why it matters for pricing

Once you know your cost per tan, every pricing decision gets easier: you can see your margin on each service, spot when a supplier price hike eats your profit, and set bridal or group rates with confidence. Inside Goldenhour, this becomes a live number — because the app already knows your service prices, it can show profit per tan, not just cost.
